The Raiders struggled against the Canadians 6-2 in home game

The Nepean Raiders struggled against the Carleton Place Canadians allowing Jackson Sterrett to score a hat trick as Nepean crushed the Canadians 6-2 in a home game at Carleton Place Arena – Rink 1 in Nepean. What's more, the Raiders' defense had a poor night, allowing the Canadians 35 shots throughout the game. The Carleton Place Canadians took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Henry Enebak.

Keenan Reynolds contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Cedric Mete had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 assists.

During the first period, Reynolds opened the scoring for the Canadians with a goal at 0:19 with helpers from teammates Mcdermott and Mete. Sterrett netted a goal at 18:55. Rogers quickly followed with a goal at 19:45 with a helper from his linemate Band.

During the second, Enebak answered for Carleton Place with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:20 with assists from his linemates, Sterrett and Reynolds. Sterrett put in a goal at 13:47. Marshall quickly followed with a goal at 14:18 with a helper from fellow Canadians forward Wardman.

During the third period, Sterrett scored a goal at 7:08 with an assist from defenseman Mete. Marcotte answered for the Raiders with a goal at 9:24 with a helper from defenseman Osburn.

This loss brings the Nepean Raiders’ record to (1-3-0-0).
