The Raiders defeat the Canadians 2-1

Liam Souliere came up big, stopping 67 of 68 shots throughout the game. The Nepean Raiders took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Alexander Bourhas.

Alexander Bourhas contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Gauthier opened the scoring for Nepean with a goal at 17:50 with helpers from his linemates, Belisle and Bourhas.

During the second, Theocharidis answered for the Canadians with a goal at 5:05 with assists from teammates Tooke and Hopkins.

In the third period, Bourhas answered for the Raiders with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 7:01 with helpers from his linemates, Horvath and Buckley.

Nepean’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Souliere’s big night as he stopped 67 of the 68 shots he faced. On the other hand, Souliere’s counterpart, Leach, and Carleton Place’s defense did not have such a great night stopping only 15 of 17 shots.

This win brings the Nepean Raiders’ record to (22-30-2-4).
