The only goal to report from the first period was from Felix Cadran who scored his twelfth goal of the season assisted from Benjamin Brunton and Alain Boudreau. Despite being outshot 14-1 in the first period, Brant was absolutely dynamite in the first period stopping 13 of the 14 shots in the first period.
