Nepean, ON – The Nepean Raiders are proud to announce the signing of 2005-born defenceman Jonah Henderson for the 2023/24 season!
Henderson, who hails from West Garafraxa, Ontario, brings a very powerful and poised presence to the back end. Playing last season with the GOJHL’s Caledon Bombers, Henderson averaged over 26 minutes per game, and chipped in offensively as well, with 4 goals and 15 assists through 43 games. His play earned him a call-up to the Milton Menace, playing 1 game for the OJHL squad last season.
Jonah showed his offensive prowess with an impressive showing at Raiders camp last weekend, leading all defencemen with 5 assists in the tournament. He is an exciting addition to the Raiders’ defence corps at both ends of the ice.
As well, Jonah will be attending the University of Ottawa in the fall, where he will be studying Kinesiology.
