Raiders can’t manage to break skid, fall to 73’s

The Nepean Raiders dropped a 2-1 away contest to the Kemptville 73’s on Fri., extending their losing streak to five games.

Alex Bourhas’ goal early in the first period was all that got by Kemptville netminder Cooper Lukenda who made 31 saves on the night.

Ashton Fry and Matthew Titus scored goals in the second and third period respectively to give the 73’s the win. Ex-Raider forward Nick Domitrovic added an assist on Titus’ goal.

Nepean goalie Kyle Alaverdy stopped 28 of 30 chances that came his way. With an assist on Bourhas’ goal, Antoine Belisle continued his point streak to three games.

The loss brings the Raiders’ record to 16-28-2-4.
