SOULIERE NAMED CCM PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The Central Canada Hockey League announced Tuesday March 6, 2018 that Nepean Raiders ’99 born goaltender Liam Souliere has been named the CCM Week 26 Goaltender of the Month.

Souliere, 18, went 2-0 allowing an overall six goals on 112 shots. He picked up a huge win against the Carleton Place Canadians on Friday (2-1), where he made 67 saves on 68 shots.

The Amos, QC, native has won his last five starts, posting a 2.36 GAA and a .947 SV% during that time.

The honourable mentions for the CCM Player of the Week go out to Braves forward Tyson Kirkby and Bears tender Kyle Renaud.

Kirkby, 20, had two goals and three assists in four Brockville wins last week.

Renaud, 17, went 2-1 last week, allowing just four goals between his two wins, making a total of 64 saves.
