Nepean, ON – The Nepean Raiders have completed a trade with the Rockland Nationals, acquiring 2005-born forward Raphaël Tellier and a 12th-round selection in 2026 in exchange for a Player Development Fee and a 4th-round selection in 2026.
Tellier, a native of Delson, Quebec, brings championship pedigree and a wealth of experience to Nepean in his final season of junior hockey. A former captain in Varsity and a 2025 Bogart Cup Champion, the small and scrappy forward will be a huge addition to our forward corps.
After three seasons at Stanstead College playing with their Varsity program, and leading the squad as their captain in his final season, Tellier racked up 152 games at the CAHS level, scoring 60 goals and adding 80 assists. A grand total of 194 points in 214 varsitygames, a pair of CPSHA championships in 21-22 and 23-24, and the successful development programs at Stanstead set up Tellier’s drive for success.
Graduating to Jr. A hockey and moving away from Québec for the first time in his career seems daunting, but Tellier leapt at the opportunity in 24-25. It took him just three games to find the scoresheet, with his 3rd-period marker eventually becoming the game-winner against Cornwall. Tellier finished 12th on the Nationals in scoring with 12 goals and 13 assists in 51 games, including a pair of GWGs. In the playoffs, he added an additional 7 points as the powerhouse Nationals brought home the championship.
Tellier’s success at every level makes him an ideal teammate and locker room presence, and as the Raiders continue to chase a return to the Bogart Cup playoffs, his energy and tenacity will be a major boost. We’re very excited to welcome him to Nepean!
