Nepean, ON – The Nepean Raiders are proud to announce that 2007-born defenceman Julian Kemp has signed with the team for the 2025/26 season.
Kemp hails from Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, and has spent most of his hockey career in and around the Pittsburgh area. Coming up through the ranks over the last 4 seasons with the Esmark (now Pittsburgh) Stars, Kemp has patrolled the Stars’ blueline for over 250 games across his minor hockey career.
This past season, Kemp hit a career high with 67 games played for the Stars’ U18 AAA squad, putting up 7 goals and 23 points as well as 3 points in 4 games during the Elite Prospects Cup Series. He also returned for his fourth season with Burrell High, reaching new career highs with 23 goals and 25 assists in just 19 games played. Over his four year high school career, Kemp put up an astounding 37 goals and 45 assists for 82 points in just 65 games.
With his two-way skill, experience, and offensive instincts, Kemp will be an important addition to the Raiders’ defence corps.
