Nepean, ON – The Nepean Raiders have completed a trade with the Carleton Place Canadians, acquiring 2004-born forward Dylan Pollock and 2006-born forward Thomas Dickey in exchange for 2004-born forward Lleyton McLean and the rights to 2006-born defenceman Anderson Hapke.
Pollock, a Nepean native, has 3 goals and 8 points through 18 games with the Canadians this season. He has spent the last 5 years in the Carleton Place system, including 3 seasons with the Jr. A Canadians, racking up 14 goals and 12 assists through 73 career CCHL games, as well as an assist in 5 playoff games last season. Standing at 6’1” and 185 lbs, the 19-year-old will be a great addition to the Raiders offence. He’ll be wearing #12 in the black and red tonight.
Dickey, also a native of Nepean, has 3 goals and 6 points through 18 games with Carleton Place to begin the year. He played all of last season with the Jr. A Canadians, putting up 7 goals and 18 points in 49 games for a total of 10 goals and 14 assists in 67 CCHL games. He also added a goal in the CCHL playoffs last year. Still only 17 years old, he brings his 6’3”, 185lbs frame to the Raiders, where his hard and heavy style of play will complement the forward corps nicely. He will wear #27 with the Raiders.
Welcome home to Nepean, Dylan and Thomas! We are very excited to have you in the lineup.
We’d also like to thank Lleyton and Anderson for their time spent in the Raiders organization.
