Nicknames?

Corey Tam: Really only the one nickname, Tammer.

How did you spend your summer? (training/events)

CT: Nothing really special, just hung out, worked and trained.

I pass the time on road trips by ____.

CT: I usually listen to music and do some school work. The odd time I’ll play cards with the guys on the bus.

You’re currently at Algonquin College. What are you studying? How are you finding post-secondary education?

CT: I’m taking two online classes for the first semester in the fitness and health promotion program.

Most memorable moment with the Raiders? Best goal?

CT: My most memorable moment as a Raider would probably have to be my first goal. It was just an awesome moment and I still remember exactly how it happened.

You’ve had the pleasure of playing in your hometown for an extended period of time.  Do you still get nervous before a game?

I still do get nervous before games, I don’t know why I just do.

Favourite local restaurant?

CT: Authentic Vietnamese Pho House.

What is your go-to order?

CT: My go-to order is P16, it’s a soup with everything in it pretty much.

Your family also billets some fellow players. Who’s in the Tam household right now and what’s it like?

CT: Yes we’re a billet family as well. This year we have Scott Mueller, Rico Rossi and Kyle Alaverdy. It’s awesome billeting!
