The Nepean Raiders are pleased to announce that Lino Dixon has been named the General Manager for the 2024-2025 season. A native of Manotick, Lino comes to Nepean with extensive experience in Major Junior, Tier II, and Academy hockey.
Looking ahead to the coming season, Lino had this to say, “It is an honour and privilege to be hired as GM of the Nepean Raiders. I look forward to fostering a culture that puts player experience and development at the forefront as we continue to build a team we can all be proud of. Growing up in Ottawa, Nepean was the standard of success, and we are excited by the challenge of returning our franchise to this level”.
The Raiders are pleased to announce that Brad Smyth has been named Head Coach for 2024-2025. Brad is very well known in Ottawa and in the hockey world more broadly. With a professional career spanning twenty years, including 5 in the NHL, Brad brings a wealth of experience to this role.
Brad shared the following statement, “I am excited to join Nepean as Head Coach. Hockey is in my blood and I am energized to work with our players, fitting individual talent into a team culture of dedication and excellence.”
We would like to sincerely thank Jerrett Defazio, Stephen Corrigan, and Keenan Reynolds for their time, efforts and dedication to the Nepean Raiders Program. Randy Watt will continue in his capacity as Senior Advisor for the Club.
