The Nepean Raiders welcomed back home following the completion of a game against the Pembroke Lumber Kings in which they put up a defiant 13-8 victory against the Pembroke Lumber Kings. As for the Wolves, they edged out the Brockville Braves 5-3.

Prior to the game, the Nepean Raiders made a lot of big changes to the roster in which included trading Carter Williamson and Raphael Tellier to the Ottawa Junior Senators.

As for the starting goalies, Otsirakatste Brant got the start in goal again and Ayo Ogini who was in net for the aforementioned game was in goal for Renfrew.

The first period was all Renfrew as Josh Lalande, John Collins Williams and Leo La Vecchia scored the goals. Despite that, the Nepean Raiders outshot the Wolves 15-10.

Although there were no goals to report in the second period, there were some spectacular saved including a sprawling blocker save on a solo short-handed breakaway from former Raider Mikayil Kahriman. The Belleville Ontario native was perfect stopping all ten shots in that period alone.

Renfrew closed out the scoring with goals from Jackson Arango and Blake Egan. Although, Otsirakatse Brant took the loss allowing five goals, he was still very good stopping 32 of the 37 shots he faced.

For the three star selections, having stopped all 32 shots in the game, Ayo Ogini was given the first star of the game for the Wolves, Carter Laforest who scored his first three points of the season was named the second star of the game for Renfrew and Cole Stants who had an impressive debut for the Raiders was rewarded the third star.

Nepean’s next game will take place on Wednesday, January 14th when the Navan Grads come to town.
