NEPEAN RAIDERS ADVERTISING GUIDE

The 2003-2004 Eastern Canadian Jr.A Champion Nepean Raiders Jr. “A” Hockey Club is a not for profit team that provides hockey players the opportunity to develop skills both on and off the ice. The Raiders are a community minded organization that helps local minor hockey teams and charities. Revenue generated from our advertising options help to fund many expenses including ice time, travel and equipment costs. Many former players have gone on to play in the NCAA, OHL and NHL, while an even larger number are now strong members of our community.

ADVERTISING OPTIONS

1. The Raiders Program
   Is available at Raiders home games during the regular season and play-offs. The Raiders Program features player pictures and profiles, a volunteer’s list, a team directory, statistics on the players, team and C.J.H.L, and many community minded companies. Raiders program advertising offers your company an opportunity to feature your company logo, products, services, company location, and other significant company information to a captive audience. Each page in the program measures 8 ½ by 11 inches. Program advertisements come in four sizes: 1/8 of a page, 1/4 of a page, ½ of a page, and one full page.

2. Corporate Nights
   Are an outstanding way to show customers and employees your appreciation by sending them, their families and friends to our game. This is done with your custom printed tickets that contain all of your company information and a “compliments of” message. Your company information will be announced five times during the game, once during each period and at both intermissions. Companies can set up a display both in the area that fans congregate in between periods, can provide signs that will be set up in the arena and entrances and can pass out flyers or coupons to fans in their seats or at the door. Corporate night tickets can be purchased in blocks of 500 tickets. Companies may also buy sets of tickets for specific groups for example, Nepean Minor Hockey players, the Boy Scouts, local schools, community groups etc. Your company will have these groups as their guests at a Raiders game.

3. Player Signs
   These signs are located on the wall of the Steve Yzerman Arena, across from the stands. The 4 feet by 8 feet wall signs are installed annually with each player being promoted with a sponsor advertisement. The advertising portion measures 4 feet by 4 feet. All signs are seen by the individuals who use and visit the Steve Yzerman Arena. The arena hosts many tournaments, leagues and special events through out the year.

4. Raider Nation Newsletter / Line up sheet
   Your company logo will be featured on every copy of the Raider Nation line-up sheet. The Raider Nation line up sheet displays the game day rosters of the visiting team and our hockey club. The line up sheet is an insert in the Raider Nation newsletter. The Raider Nation is a three page newsletter with pictures and articles on the Raiders and the CJHL written by Barrhaven This Week editor Malcolm MacMillan. At least two hundred copies are printed for each home game with the remaining copies left in the Nepean Sportsplex for visitors to read. The Raider Nation also features give-aways and prizes to attract more fans to the line-ups. Contestants are selected through lucky numbers on our line-ups.

5. Player Sweaters
   Your company’s name or logo on the top of our players home and/or away jerseys.. The Raiders play 30 home games at the Steve Yzerman Arena as well as 30 away games across the city of Ottawa and the surrounding areas. The name recognition of your product, service or company logo will be visible to all the fans that watch the ten teams with in the Central Junior Hockey League.

6. Raider Calendar
   Advertise your company on the bottom of the 2007-2008 Raider calendar. The Raider calendar is a 30” X 15” poster with images of the Raiders hockey club along with a September 07 to August 08 calendar with the Raiders full schedule on it. All sponsors will be listed on the bottom half of the calendar and will be given copies to display in their place of business. The calendars are made available in many different locations throughout the city for more awareness of Raiders Jr. “A” games.

7. The Raider Web Site
   The Raiders Web site is available for advertising opportunities. The site has had over 47,000 hits over the last two months. To date the web site has provided advertising for companies who are major sponsors. To become a major sponsor a company must make a significant contribution the Nepean Raiders Hockey Club.
   
   PRICE: Web Site Spaces are given to Major Sponsors and can be purchased by companies at a negotiated price.
