The Raiders held their first Import/ rookie camp under the direction of GM/ Head Coach, Peter Goulet. The camp was a tremendous success. The hockey was exciting and a number of men made quite on impression on the evaluation staff. The Raiders management team would like to thank every parent, player and volunteer to help make this edition, an event to remember. For those who communicated their comments with the camp, thank you. We received a few great emails. Please take a moment to read them. Again, thank you to all.

Peter,

What a great camp! Well run with accessible coaches who answer questions and boys that play hard and concentrate on hockey skills! I was proud to just be a part of this in the stands. I did not go with Amanda to see you because I wanted her to hear what you guys would say and for her to have her moment for I thought she had earned it! You guys were very
kind and she was very happy when she left the arena. Many boys shook her hand and wished her well and more than one told her they thought she would wear the flag one day! What a great thing to see and hear from so many talented players!

She told me that you have invited her to the main camp which is an honor! I would like to thank you Peter and your entire organization for being open minded and fair about your opportunities. The confidence you have given her by recognizing her efforts may in fact be one of the most significant contributions to her on going development and another crucial step in her goal to represent Canada one day.

Thank you from Debbie and I, for being the kind of Junior "A" team that everyone should aspire to be like! I wish you the very best wishes for a great and prosperous season!

Sincerely

Jim and Debbie Leveille

On behalf of Lenard McLean and myself I would like to thank you and the Nepean Raiders Organization for having us participate in the June 18th-20th camp.It was a privilege to participate with such a knowledgeable and professional group. The camp was well organized and ran very smooth and it was " fun". The trainers and equipment managers did an excellent job and welcomed us . A great group of players who displayed appropriate behavior and attitude throughout the weekend and were a pleasure to manage on the bench. It was a valuable learning experience to have been a part of the " team" for the weekend, to participate in the discussions and hear the different perspectives on the players ,was an excellent hockey experience.

Peter,
thanks for a great weekend. I spoke to many kids. Everyone was really impressed. I have been talking to people in the hockey world and heard great things about you. They say you care a lot about your team and players. I strongly believe that players down the road will want and come and play for you. I look forward to working with you this season. I will learn lots and if I have any questions I will definitely approach you with it. Thanks again for a great weekend.

Nepean Raiders under the direction of Peter Goulet, Head Coach and GM and Pat Domenico, Head Scout, are very pleased with our draft results.

Peter Goulet says, "Our Major Bantam protrects, William Petscheniq and Evan de Haan will be great Raiders in the years to come. First round protect, Brandon Watt along with last years Major Bantam protects, Daniel Altshuller and Michael Vered are 3 great 16 years olds that will bring a solid foundation of great young players".
